THE NEW RICKTER XFR

The XFR

The Rickter team have been focussing on developing units to suit a wide range of applications. We launched the XFR, a short hull that can perform crazy tricks in the surf; it will spin, flip, carve like no other ski. It is effortless to flip due to its short length, but we made it also really stable in a straight line by using the back sponson technology of the edge. This unit will carve a tight turn with ease; it makes it an enjoyable group to ride flat water also. The beauty of this unit is that when you take off the back sponson, you have in hands the state of the art Freestyle unit, without the rear sponson the bottom hull is the same as our XFS freestyle unit, it will allow you to push as far as you want your freestyle maneuvers. The front tray has been extended compared to the XFS to give the possibility to the rider to ride surf stance. We have been working on short hulls for a long time, we have managed to make them stable and maneuverable. We have also designed three ride plate for that unit (short, medium and long) to make it perform for all riders weight. The short hull has always been extremely maneuverable but is challenging at high speed; now the new XFR gave you the chance to ride fast and carve with the maneuverability for wild tricks. XFR-LT

XFR-LT is built for Freestyle, same unit as XFR with a lighter layup, not recommended for wave riding
available in fiberglass, full carbon, carbon look, Textreme Look.

The Hull will accept all Yamaha Super Jet mechanical parts, engine, etc. (Super Jet 08 and up need to replace the drive shaft of the version of the previous year)

 

All XFR hulls are built with 100% epoxy resin using a high tech infusion process.

High Volume Intake Track

XFS Ninja Competition has a super long, wide and deep intake track to feed the pump with maximum water alimentation. Rickter XFR comes with a high volume intake track that suit pumps from 144-160.          

Without Back Sponson

Without the back sponson, the XFR bottom hull is the same as our XFS freestyle unit. Sponsons removed; it will allow you to push as far as you want with your freestyle maneuvers.  

With Sponsons

With the back sponson on, the XFR is transforms into a unit which is stable and carve well. Sponsons installed XFR becomes an excellent wave-ride unit. Extra sponsons are also available for purchase.

Back Tray

Xfr has a big volume on the back tray to prevent the back of the ski to sink on landing. The feet positions are angled forward to give the rider a stance that provides more comfortable riding.
